You may take certain courses at another institution over the summer or winter sessions (not during the spring or fall terms) and transfer the credit (not the grade) to be applied towards your Engineering degree at Rutgers. Tuition is paid for by the student. Click here for more information on transfer courses.
If you have a GED you must be certain to provide the following documents in support of your application: 1. An official report of your GED examination scores. 2. Transcripts from any high school you attended regardless of the length of enrollment. 3. Transcripts from any college you have attended. Please note that courses taken in math, science, and foreign language at another college may be used to satisfy entrance requirements.

Prof. Pompili receives the 2012 DARPA Young Faculty Award
ECE Assistant Professor Dario Pompili received the 2012 DARPA Young Faculty Award (YFA) for his work on vital signs processing in mobile computing grids. The award amount is $300K over two years. The abstract of the project is give below.
Prof. Pompili received the ONR Young Investigator Award earlier in 2012, and the NSF Career award in 2011.

ECE/WINLAB Alumna Lalitha Sankar joined the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering of Arizona State University (ASU) as Assistant Professor.
ECE Student Awarded National Physical Sciences Consortium Fellowship Sponsored by the NSA
ECE Student and WINLAB member Christopher Mueller-Smith was awarded the National Security Agency National Physical Science Consortium Fellowship in support of his graduate studies.
ECE Student Receives Award at Telcordia Contest
Sangeetha Siddegowda, an ECE Master's student and WINLAB member, was awarded as a runner-up by Telcordia for participating in the contest to develop an application for Android and iPhones that will use Telcordia Mobile ID to assist users to identify their next service provider.
Sangeetha is pursuing a Master's thesis under the supervision of ECE/WINLAB Profs. Marco Gruteser and Janne Lindqvist, and also working on research in network layer multicast under the supervision of ECE/WINLAB Prof. Dipankar Raychaudhuri.
