Jeff Lowinger is Executive Vice President, Engineering & Xworx for Bell Helicopter, and is a member of Bell’s Executive Leadership Team. Mr. Lowinger is responsible for all aspects of the company’s new product development and sustaining engineering for all future, current production and legacy aircraft. He is also responsible for all innovation and technology through Bell Helicopter’s high-tech Xworx organization. Jeff joined Bell Helicopter after spending 25 years at Boeing Rotocraft where he served where he has worked on nearly all Boeing helicopter program.

Jeff Lowinger has held various executive engineering and program leadership positions including extensive involvement with the CH-47, RAH-66, ARH, 609 and multiple unmanned programs. He is responsible for ensuring Bell Helicopter remains in the forefront of engineering technology, knowledge and process improvement. As the functional leader of the multi-site and multidiscipline Engineering organization, he is responsible for formulating, implementing and directing programs, policies and procedures to assure excellence in all facets of engineering. Jeff is active in promoting science, technology, engineering and math through his involvement at Texas Christian University and Penn State University. He is also on the board of directors for the American Helicopter Society. He has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rutgers University School of Engineering.
