Two ECE students receive the Ashok and Yohavalli Sethu Electrical and Computer Engineering Annual Scholarship 2022-2023

The annual Ashok and Yohavalli Sethu Electrical and Computer Engineering Scholarship has been awarded to Nandana Pai and Adam D'Souza.

Nandana Pai is a junior majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a concentration in Computer Engineering, and a minor in Computer Science. She interned at L3Harris Technologies as a Software Engineer Intern this past summer. Nandana has also worked on a human-computer interaction research project at WINLAB. On campus, she’s a School of Engineering Ambassador and she’s involved with the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). Upon graduation, Nandana plans to pursue a master's degree at Rutgers in Computer Engineering. She hopes to innovate products and systems to improve the quality of our lives.

 

Adam D'Souza is a sophomore studying electrical engineering with a minor in mathematics. Adam is involved in multiple student organizations, including Rutgers Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, where he serves as the Internal Vice President. He is additionally involved in both the VEXU and IGVC divisions, where he applies his passion for electrical engineering and robotics. Outside of engineering, he is a member of RU Animation Club, and spends his free time drawing. Adam hopes to pursue engineering opportunities that will positively impact society.
